Orientation for the students of fall session is held in the month of August every year in the Main Campus, H-12 under the aegis of SA Dte. Approx 1600 UG students attend the Orientation from different parts of the country.

Reporting of Hostelites
Day – 1
- Reception at Schools
- Principal’s address to parents & Q/A session
- CMS / LMS Orientation Session
- Tea / Prayers break
- Documentation
- Alumni Talks
- Batch Photo
- Briefing & Q/A session with Parents (it will be a parallel event with Batch Photo)
Day – 2
- Orientation School / Documentation
- Lunch / Prayers break
- Ice Breaking Activities
- Sports
- Dinner
Day – 3
- Inter School Visits / Directorates / Facilities
- Lunch / Prayers break
- Life at NUST (10-15 minutes presentation to freshmen by Registrar, Dir Admin, Dir ICT, Dir Acad, Dir C3A, Dir Fin, DD SA followed by one hour of Q/A session. Familiarization with the Clubs / Societies stalls.

- Tree Plantation Drive.
- Cultural Festival / Food Street Fest
Day – 5
