Stay Trip to Kumrat Valley – 3-5th June 2023

NUST Xcursion club organized a 3 day stay trip to Kumrat Valley from 3-5 June,2023. The purpose of this trip was to provide students with a break from their hectic academicroutines and to provide an opportunity to explore and admire the natural beauty Pakistan has been gifted with. On this trip, the participants notonly got to relax in the most scenic and peaceful place happen to be in Pakistan but also got the opportunity to explore beautiful landmarks of northern sites. The journey started off from NUST at 08:00 hrs and first stop was “Panjkora River” followed by “ThallBazar” for a short stay. Afterwards they headed towards Kumrat Valley Hotel, where they stayed for a night.On the second day, they travelled towards “Kaala Paani” which was followed by “Kumrat Forest” for trekking. A day well spent came to an end with “BBQ Night” and a Bonfire session, which included many entertaining activities. Last day was dedicated to the final spot “Baab-e-kumrat” on their way back. Overall, the trip was an amazing experience for the participants which they’ll cherish forever.
