Rector NUST Meets NUST Community Services Club Office Bearers – 19 May 2025

On 19 May 2025, the Rector NUST met with the office bearers of the NUST Community Services Club, along with Faculty Sponsor, Ms. Maheen Mumtaz (Manager Community Services). During the meeting, the Rector appreciated the impactful community service initiatives undertaken by the club and engaged in a discussion on how NUST students can continue to contribute meaningfully to marginalized communities.

The office bearers shared their motivations for joining the club and highlighted their commitment to social causes, despite the challenges of managing academic responsibilities. The Rector commended their dedication and emphasized the importance of developing well-rounded personalities. He remarked that such meaningful engagements free from the frills and frolic of concerts and entertainment are essential in nurturing empathy and social responsibility among students.
