Orientation of NUST – Fall 2023 (4th – 8th Sep, 23)

Orientation NUST 23 was organized under the aegis of Student Affairs Dte from 4th to 8thSeptember 2023. Prior to the event, general instructions were issued to all concerned duly approved by the competent authority.
Day 1 (4th September)
The day started with freshmen registration process in their respective schools. At the same time, the brief presentation of NUST was presented by Registrar to parents of freshmen at Jinnah Auditorium followed by Q/A session and served them refreshment as well. At the evening, the students made their way to the Convocation ground for the highly anticipated batch photo.
Day 2 (5th September)
Continuing with school registrations, the incoming freshmen had the chance to become acquainted with their respective schools and departments, receiving a warm and enthusiastic welcome. As morning descended, “Life at NUST” unfolded as a constructive and enjoyable event hosted at Jinnah Auditorium, where a briefed presentation of NUST on the multitude of opportunities NUST offers, including hostel and sports facilities, cafes, and the Concordias by Registrar followed by presentation regarding scholarship by DD Scholarships.
Day 3 (6th September)
An interactive session with the Pro-Rector Academics and a selected group of 68 freshmen that had attended NUST Online Summer School (hosted for the first time), was also held in USPCASE Seminar Hall.
Day 4 (7th September)
Day began with the second round of visits to neighboring schools, allowing them to explore exciting locations and captivating departments that would become the backdrop for countless cherished memories in the years ahead. To top it all off, the day concluded with a bang at ON Fest, where the freshmen danced to the captivating rhythms and melodies performed by the talented members of the NUST Music Society.
Day 5 (8th September)
Day 5 marked the start of the final day of Orientation of NUST 23. The day started with school tours, with the freshmen realizing that this was the end of their orientation at NUST. Tours took up the first half of the day. At evening, freshmen and OC alike made their way to Jinnah Auditorium for the closing ceremony, which featured addresses to the freshmen from the chief guest Director Student Affairs, Executive Council and the distribution of awards between the OG houses. The ceremony also included the Orientation Highlights video, along with replays of the ON Anthem video.
