National Literary Festival 4.0 – 10th – 12th Mar 2023

The National Literary Festival 4.0 was held at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Islamabad, Pakistan, from March 10-12, 2023. The festival was organized by the NUST Literary Circle, which is a student-led organization that aims to promote literature and encourage reading and writing among students. The three-day festival brought together writers, poets, literary enthusiasts, and students from different universities across Pakistan.
2:00 pm, the doors of CIPS opened and National Literary Festival 4.0 began. The ceremony was initiated with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the esteemed national anthem.
A tableau named “Urdu Hai Jis Ka Naam” was written, performed and organized by the students themselves. The topic of the performance was the history and growth of Urdu as time passed in the subcontinent.
The honorable poets Iftikhar Hussain Arif led the All Pakistan Mushaira accompanied by Shakeel Jazib, Akhtar Usman, Yasmeen Hameed, Rehman Faris, Abbas Tabish Idrees Azad and Asghar Nadeem Syed. All these creative personalities brought their works and shared their years of experiences in a heart- touching manner.
The closing ceremony of the National Literary Festival 4.0 at NUST was a memorable event, marking the end of a successful festival that celebrated literature, art, and culture. The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including renowned writers, artists, and scholars. The festival organizers thanked all the participants, volunteers, and sponsors who made the festival possible. The winners of various competitions were announced, and they were awarded certificates and prizes. The ceremony featured cultural performances, including music and dance, showcasing the rich cultural diversity of Pakistan.
