Narayan Jagannath Vaidya High School visited NUST, July 22, 2022

Narayan Jagannath Vaidya Higher secondary (NJV) school Karachi is the oldest public school in Sindh. It was established in 1855 with a history of 167 years. In 2015, the Sindh Govt decided to revive it to its original state by working alongside “Akhuwat Foundation”.

Narayan Jagannath Vaidya High School, Karachi is committed to nurturing a free-thinking knowledgeable environment that supports human dignity and values.

NUST Student Affairs Directorate (SA) arranged a visit of its students to the university main campus in Islamabad.
Eighty students from 2nd year along with seven Faculty Members of NJV visited NUST on July 22, 2022. Mr Asad Mehmood, Director SA welcomed them on behalf of the NUST fraternity and administration.

They were briefed about NUST and NUST Entrance Test (NET) by Ms Arooj Toufique, Assistant Director SA. This led to a Q&A session which was conducted by Dir SA, Mr Shoaib (Lecturer, SMME) and AD SA. Souvenirs were presented to the NJV faculty as well. Afterwards, they were taken for a visit to the labs of the NUST School of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering (SMME).
