Awareness Seminar on “Learning by Giving” (7th April, 2022)

An awareness seminar on the topic of ‘Learning by Giving’ was held in Atta-ur-Rahman School of Applied Biosciences on 7th April, 2022 organized by NUST Skill Development Club under supervision of Student Affairs and Counseling Dte. The seminar was aimed at raising awareness for blind individuals. The chief guest was Major General Rehmat Khan (Retd), the President of Al-Shifa Trust. The seminar was done in collaboration with Al-Shifa Trust.

The formal start of the seminar was marked by the recitation of the Holy Quran, which was followed by the National Anthem. The MOC, Ms Anoosha Ahmad invited Dr Hussnain Janjua, the esteemed principal of ASAB, to take the stage. Dr Janjua applauded the efforts of NUST Skill Development Club in organizing the awareness seminar and thanked the chief guest for coming. Afterwards, Director SAC, Mr. Ali Hasnain Sayed took the stage in which he reiterated NUST’s and NSDC’s mission to contribute to the welfare of the society. The esteemed chief guest took the stage afterwards and gave the audience an inspiring talk about blindness in Pakistan and Al-Shifa Trust. The event was concluded with Dr. Hussnain Janjua and Mr. Ali Hasnain Sayed giving the honorable guests a token of remembrance.
