On December 9, 2025, the NUST Biomedics Club organized a heartfelt and purpose-driven event in honor of the International Day of differently-abled persons and was dedicated to recognizing their potential, courage, and resilience. The guest speakers, including Moiz Shaukat, a renowned humanitarian, delivered an empowering and motivational talk, while Maha Hamid, a well-known influencer, shared her powerful journey that offered strength and hope to everyone present.
It was a privilege to host students from the National Special Education Centre for Physically Handicapped Children, whose presence added profound meaning to the day, as we celebrated talent, confidence, and the spirit of inclusion together.
The event also included a rehabilitation device exhibition featuring the Knee Ankle Foot Orthosis, Hand Rehabilitation Glove, and Game-Based rehabilitation device for lower limb to motivate the students and emphasize that limitations never define a person’s potential. Moreover, representatives from Bioniks also joined us to share insights into innovative advancements in prosthetic technology.
This meaningful event served as a reminder of the importance of inclusivity and highlighted that differently-abled individuals are equal in love, hope, and kindness.
