On September 30, 2025, the NUST Community Services Club (NCSC), ex-JSPPL, undertook a visit led by the Student Affairs Dte to the flood-affected area of Madina Sayedan, Gujrat, under their Flood Relief Campaign 2025. This initiative emerged as a powerful testament to NUST’s enduring spirit of compassion, solidarity, and civic engagement. NCSC raised funds through generous donations from the NUST community and a special Pakistan vs India cricket screening, where every ticket sold symbolized hope for those in need. During the visit, over 50 ration bags each worth Rs. 5,000 and containing essential food items such as rice, oil, pulses, sugar, and flour were distributed among affected families. Additionally, life-saving medicines worth Rs. 33,677.99 were donated to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Gujrat to strengthen local healthcare support. The activity not only brought tangible relief to vulnerable communities but also offered NCSC members hands-on experience in humanitarian service, teamwork, and leadership. The impactful efforts of NCSC students reinforced NUST’s mission of nurturing socially responsible citizens dedicated to making meaningful contributions to society.
