Ramadan is a time of unity, compassion, and shared blessings. To embrace the spirit of giving, NUST Community Service Club (NCSC) organized two Iftar Drives this Blessed Month, spreading Khair and Rahma to those in need. The first took place on March 14th (13th Ramadan) at Mera Ghar, an all-girls orphanage, where 40 volunteers spent time with 150 young girls, fostering bonds of “Akhuwa” and empowerment. Beyond sharing a meal, activities on women empowerment were conducted to remind these girls of their strength and independence. The next day, on March 15th (14th Ramadan), 30 volunteers of the club set up a dastarkhwan at G-9 Markaz, Islamabad, serving 200 people, including daily wage workers and those unable to afford a good iftar. Privileged and underprivileged sat side by side, breaking bread together—a powerful reminder of humility, gratitude, and the true essence of Ramadan. Through these initiatives, NCSC upheld the values of compassion and inclusivity, ensuring that no one breaks their fast alone.
