The Clothes Donation Drive (CDD), organized between 21st November and 5th December, was a remarkable initiative that brought together the university community for a noble cause. The drive aimed to collect and distribute clothes to families in need, fostering a spirit of generosity and collaboration among students and staff. Clothes were donated from across the campus, with stalls set up at strategic locations in C1, C2, and C3. Additionally, certain allocated hostel rooms served as collection points, ensuring maximum convenience for donors. The response was overwhelming, with over 4,800 pieces of clothing collected during the drive. The distribution event took place on Saturday, 7th December, at the F-7 Presbyterian Church of Pakistan, where 30 volunteers from NCSC and 10 volunteers from Wall of Hope worked tirelessly to ensure smooth operations. Clothes were arranged on desks, thoughtfully segregated by gender and age groups, allowing families to select items according to their specific needs. This thoughtful approach ensured that every family could collect clothing that suited their requirements, reflecting the organizers’ commitment to dignity and personalization. The drive’s success was a testament to the collective efforts of the university community, reinforcing the values of compassion and social responsibility. This initiative not only provided warmth to numerous families but also inspired participants to continue contributing to meaningful causes.
