Accessibility Committee at NUST

In line with the Regulatory Framework of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, all public and private sector higher education institutions in Pakistan are required to establish a policy for students with disabilities and an Accessibility Committee to address their grievances. The NUST Accessibility Committee is already functional under the aegis of the Student Affairs Directorate. The Directorate, being the custodian of policy, is committed to fostering an inclusive environment that ensures equal opportunities for all students at NUST, addressing their diverse needs and concerns. The committee works diligently to create an accessible and enriching campus experience for specially-abled students, ensuring that all have the opportunity to thrive and fully participate in vibrant campus life.The Accessibility Committee consists of six members, including the Deputy Director of Student Affairs, two faculty members, one psychologist, and one representative from the student body. The committee has been established at NUST, H-12 Campus, Islamabad. The names of the committee members are as follows:
